Walter G Buckle. Died 27 August 1918
Walter was born about 1895 to Edward George and Susan Maria, he was the eldest of 7 children and their father was a cowman at Stratfield Saye. They lived in Finchampstead.
The only details we can find about Walter’s military service are from the church roll of honour, this states that he died on 27th august 1918 and was serving on HMS Shannon:
